How Roof Financing Works With Tex Roof
We partner with consumer lenders who specialize in home improvement. You apply directly with the lender, usually online in a few minutes, and get a decision quickly. If approved, the lender pays us and you make monthly payments to them on the agreed terms. Tex Roof does not lend money and doesn’t add a markup to your roof for financing.
What to expect
- Application with the lender takes a few minutes and a decision is typically fast
- Fixed monthly payments; terms and rates vary by lender and credit profile
- Promotional and low-interest plans may be available on qualifying projects
- No prepayment penalty on most plans if you want to pay it off early
- Financing applies to replacements, major repairs and storm work beyond your deductible
Financing is subject to credit approval by the lender. Terms, rates and availability vary. We’ll give you the current options and lender details at your inspection; we never quote rates we can’t guarantee.
Three Ways Austin Homeowners Pay for a Roof
Often it’s a combination. We’ll help you figure out which applies to you.
Insurance
If hail or wind caused the damage, your policy may cover the replacement and your only cost is the deductible. We document and handle the claim with you. How claims work.
Financing
For age-related replacements insurance won’t cover, or to cover a deductible, monthly payments through our lending partners keep the project moving.
Direct payment
Check, card or bank transfer, with a deposit at material delivery and the balance at completion after your walk-through. No payment in full before the work is done.
Financing FAQ
Does applying for financing affect my credit score?
That depends on the lender. Many home improvement lenders offer a soft-credit pre-qualification that doesn’t affect your score, followed by a hard inquiry only if you proceed. We’ll tell you which our current partners use.
Can I finance just my insurance deductible?
Yes. Deductibles on Texas policies are often 1 to 2 percent of the home’s insured value, which can be several thousand dollars. Financing the deductible is common and is not the same as a roofer illegally waiving it.
Is the price the same whether I finance or pay cash?
Yes. Your written estimate is the price. We don’t inflate quotes to absorb financing costs.
What if I’m not approved?
We’ll talk through alternatives: a phased approach, a repair that buys time, or a different lender. Nobody gets pressured into a roof they can’t pay for.
Do you offer financing for commercial roofs?
Commercial projects are typically financed through the owner’s business banking. We’re happy to structure payment schedules around phased work and can provide the documentation lenders require.
