Why We Do This
Tex Roof was started in 2014 by David after watching too many Austin homeowners get a new roof from a crew that appeared after a hail storm and disappeared before the first leak. The idea was simple: build a roofing company that would still be around, still insured and still answering the phone when the warranty mattered.
Twelve years later, that’s still the whole business model. We inspect for free and tell you the truth, even when the truth is that your roof is fine. We put every warranty in writing. We photograph our work so you never have to climb up to check it. And when a storm hits Central Texas, we take care of the customers who already trust us before we chase new ones.
We’re residential and commercial, every roof type: shingle, metal, tile and flat. We don’t do skylights or gutters as standalone jobs, and we’ll happily point you to people who do them well.

General liability and workers’ compensation on every job. Certificates of insurance available on request. Texas doesn’t license roofers; insurance is what actually protects you.

Written warranties
2 to 5 years on workmanship depending on the system, plus manufacturer material warranties up to 30 years, registered by us on your behalf.

Roofs don’t fail at convenient hours. Call any time and reach someone who can actually dispatch a crew.
Photos of everything
Inspections, repairs and completed roofs are documented with photos you keep. You never have to take our word for what’s on your roof.
Honest recommendations
If a repair is right, we say repair. If a claim doesn’t make sense, we say so. Most of our inspections end without a sale, and that’s how we stay in business.

We’re based in Austin and work across the metro: Round Rock, Cedar Park, Pflugerville, Georgetown, Lakeway, Leander, Kyle and Buda, plus the neighborhoods in between. Same crew, same warranty, wherever you are.
